The atmosphere was great..bird's chirping...wind blowing.. and yes i was standing infront of my college (NIE,Mysore). That was the first day of my proffessional course, never in ma dreams i had thought that i had to stay away from my house.. neverthless i was ready for it. The early days at PG was fun. We were a group of 12 at the PG..all freshers. Our hope of escaping from the seniors was only a dream again. As everyone even i was also caught. The common form of getting ragged is getting biodats's of all beautiful gals in the college. Hmmm,...a great oppurtunity!!!! Even i got a chance too...frankly speaking i njoyed it to the core..:)
Studies was never a problem..(Height of boasting). It went smoothly. Internals came one after the other. And then came the final xams and do believe in the fact of One night stand bfore Xams...
First year went this way... It was a mixture of Cricket, studies and fun at PG.. Let me not forget to xplain the beauty of Mysore..Great places and we never missed to visit any. Chamundi hills was the frequent visiting place.
And never missed an opportunity to go home(Mlore). Second year went without any much thrill..
Third year was very eventfull for me. There was always a pressure to get placed at the end of 3rd year... Not much prep. went to it. It was just like any other semester to me. Not to forgett my crush too...(* First mistake of ma life ;) ..........) . Crush is something like a wave which comes and goes.. Nways lot of lessons learnt...no regrets though. It wa the last day of my 6th semester exams. (14th july 2005) . And the placement s were to commence from 17th.
I was not prepared with any formalities so called... TVS motor company was scheduled first and t was to be held at RVCE,blore. I had to pack ma bags and go to RV on 16th. Am grateful to all ma friends at RV... who welcomed be warmly to their hostel.
It was 17th morning... well groomed with a tie too..(wearing for the first time). Thanks to one of ma frien who tied the knot on my neck....;) . And rest what happened is all favouring me...
Cleared the online aptitude test... Cleared the group discussion... fared well in the psychometery test and interview too went well..
It was 7:30 pm in the night and the HR came out with the result. My fingers were crossed ..and lot of things in ma mouth..;) I was in cloud nine when he called Vineeth Kumar R K from NIE,Mysore. One of the dreams came true... Thanks giving to many ...
Then came the 4th year... our last year in col... I got my Bike.... my legs were happy here after. No pain of walking.
Bike was something which i xploited from the day one.. We went on a trip to Munnar by bike at the early days of 7th sem... Visit to chamundi hills was frequent in the nights... Days were running...and it was only few months b4 we were out of the college.... Had one more dream of performing infront of a big crowd and even that dream came true when i sang during our annual college fest.
Bike rides were not over yet...we went on a ride to kabini back waters... and lot more places..
Project work went parallely and good exposuire of a company too...
Farewell parties were held. exams got over. project viva got over.... and i was a BE in Mechanical engineering..
Those days of internals, bike rides, and eveything came to an end..It was the time to move on in life...
It was so hurting to move away from my room mates ,, my friends... and the college...
But there is always a saying....
We depart to meet.....
Those were the best days of my life......

LOL Vineeth....Exams were never a problem!!!!
Dude i was there with you in those 4 eventful magical years and i know wat was the tension in your face during exams:)
The red color of your face.. lol
Well i dunno much abt the crushes ,but your crushes were absolutely like waves. Not just because they come and go, but how many times they come and go!!!!!
they never used to get tired and guess wat it was the same water that used to come and go!!!
Any those were the best days:!
Several highly informed sources however disagree with your version of the placement process, one Mr. Alhad Patil recollects the following "I remember a chubby little kid from mysore voraciously reading current affair books in our placement office library"."He appeared extremely nervous, spouting bouts of tulu alternated with english and looked like he was going to have a stroke".
One Mr. Gopalkrishna Pai had this to say, "While we were waiting for the final results, one person got so nervous that he actually plucked out a clump of hair from his head, and later proceeded to verbally abuse someone on his cell phone"."Rest assured we all maintained our distance from this crazy person.Later on ,after the results, we realized that this erstwhile crazy person was actually a decent person named vineeth, and was'nt actually mad.
Another interviewee Mr. Vinayak had this to say, " When I struck up a conversation with this cherubic guy named vineeth, I was stunned to find out that he had reread all the engineering text books twice for the placement process. He knew every formulae in and out( including Thermodynamics related ones). I had never before met a person as well prepared as this."
Thus from the several testimonials i have scrupulously reproduced I am certain that, in the future you will refrain from lying/exaggerating since you know that people are always watching you, and also that truth seldom stays hidden for long.....
Guys....;)
Don kill me....;)
